From Surviving to Thriving
Courses, community, and real tools for the parent doing all of it — the IEPs, the homework battles, the midnight Googling. Built by a teacher and mom of four who gets it.
Meet Amanda Armstrong
Twenty years in the classroom showed me something textbooks never taught: every child who "couldn't sit still" or "wouldn't focus" was actually a brilliant mind waiting for the right approach.
As a mom of four neurodivergent boys — each with their own IEPs, 504s, and gifted plans — I don't just understand the research. I understand the 11 PM panic when homework isn't done, the IEP meetings where you feel outnumbered, and the guilt of wondering if you're doing enough.
I built Insight Education Academy because parents deserve more than late-night Google searches and conflicting advice. You deserve real tools from someone who's been on both sides of the table.
The Burnout Blueprint
This isn't another parenting course that makes you feel like you're failing. It's a practical roadmap built on two decades of classroom experience and the latest research in neuroscience.
What EF actually is, why it matters, and how it shows up differently in every child.
Why instructions go in one ear and out the other — and strategies that actually stick.
Practical systems your child can own, not ones that fall apart by Wednesday.
How to make time visible and manageable for a brain that experiences it differently.
Building self-awareness without shame — helping kids check their own compass.
Moving past rigidity and meltdowns when plans change or things feel "wrong."
The pause button — helping kids think before they act without crushing their spirit.
Tools for the big feelings — for your child and for you.
Join the Burnout Blueprint on Mighty Networks — includes course access, community support, and direct access to Amanda.
Parent Community
Join a community of parents who get it. Share wins, ask real questions, and get support from someone who's walked in your shoes.
Not a Facebook group with 10,000 strangers. A small, focused community where your question actually gets answered.
Actually finish what you start. The community keeps you moving forward — no more courses collecting digital dust.
Ask questions, get feedback, and learn from someone with 20+ years of hands-on experience with neurodivergent students.
Curated tools, templates, and guides you can actually use — built by a teacher who knows what works in the real world.
